Overview of the ABIA Bridal Rating System

The ABIA Bridal Ratings System enable newlyweds to rate their wedding vendors, based on ABIA’s 4 Pillars of Perfection:

Quality of Product – Quality of Service – Value for Money – Attitude of Staff.

Each couple rate each of these Pillars of Perfection out of a maximum score of 100%.
The ratings supplied by all newlyweds are then combined together over a 12 month period to give an overall performance of each
wedding vendor to determine the Finalists and Winners of the
Annual Bridal Industry Awards in each State of QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA.
The combined ratings supplied by all newlyweds are then published on the ABIA Awards Page!

Past brides helping future brides

The average Australian bride will engage 13 different wedding vendors to service and supply her wedding needs.
Selecting which vendors to engage for their wedding can be a daunting task for the novice couple who
have never had to organise a wedding for 20, 50, 100, 200 or 300+ wedding guests.
The average wedding couple will converse with 8 different vendors in each of their chosen wedding categories,
ie. 8 Venues, 8 Celebrants, 8 Photographers ect. In total, the average couple will contact,
email or visit approximately 104 vendors to eventually come up with a final list of 13 vendors.
The average couple will send and receive over 520 emails to and from wedding vendors over the course of organizing their wedding.

The end result? Frustration and information overload!

As the ABIA Ratings System enables couples to locate the best wedding vendors as they have been ranked, rated
and evaluated by past couples and Australia’s peak industry body, choosing an ABIA rated vendor to service
the wedding takes all the heartache, disappointment, frustration and annoyance out of organising a wedding.
