Kristen & Ryan

"ABIA helped me plan the perfect wedding day..."

"ABIA was my bible when planning our wedding for the 9th April 2010. We used ABIA to find almost every supplier as we were one of the first of our friends to get married. It was incredibly helpful as we knew we were getting 'the best' when booking suppliers recommended by ABIA. As it turns out, all of the suppliers we selected based on their connection with ABIA were perfect, making our wedding day the most incredible day of our lives. It was our fairy tale come true. I certainly let the suppliers and every bride to be I know that I got the details from ABIA! Thank you!" said Kristen.

Holly & George

"Using ABIA Winners made us feel confident..."

"When planning our wedding the ABIA website was a good place to start as it provided us with a list of all the wedding suppliers in Australia who had been recognised and recommended by other newlyweds. It really helped us save time... which we did not have much of. It was also funny when we had chosen some suppliers like Studio Zanetti, Bizzaro and L'Bridal through friend's recommendations only to find after booking that they were No 1 ABIA winners! It really made us feel confident that we had chosen people that were loved by others to join us on our special day" said Holly.

Alyssa & Konrad

"We found the best in the industry on the ABIA website"

Konrad had always told Alyssa that he would not propose on a special occasion, so when he told her he had a surprise planned for their one year anniversary, she was not expecting his proposal! "I was whisked away to Sydney airport where our private helicopter was waiting to take us on a romantic sunset flight over Sydney Harbour. As I was enjoying the sights I realised that the helicopter was hovering over Sydney Harbour Bridge and in my heart I knew that was the moment that Konrad would propose! To make the proposal even more romantic, Konrad gave me a gorgeous engagement ring that he designed himself" said Alyssa.

Renee & Mark

"I learnt about ABIA the hard way"

Renee and Mark were married in October 2008 on the lovely golf course at Monash Country Club on Sydney's northern beaches. It turned out to be the most amazing day of Renee's life, however a wedding isn't a wedding without a few hick ups along the way. Especially when she found out 2 weeks before her big day that the company that she had booked to do the hair and makeup for the bridal party had closed down. "In my eyes it was the worst thing that could have happened" said Renee.

Nathan & Elissa

"ABIA helped us plan our wedding day!"

Nathan proposed to Elissa over Christmas in 2007 whilst holidaying in Coffs Harbour. When they arrived he took her for a romantic stroll along the beach, where he proposed with a gorgeous ring.

Following the proposal Nathan and Elissa were both really excited about planning their big day. Initially, they went and purchased some bridal magazines and were feeling quite overwhelmed as planning a wedding was something new to both of them. They did a lot of research and came across ABIA.

Anna & Scott

"ABIA Awards increased my confidence!"

Anna Singleton and Scott Murphy were married on the 19th of September 2009. The ceremony was at the beautiful St Andrew's Church at Lutwyche, chosen because the bride's grandparents were married there almost 80 years ago. Photos were taken at Kangaroo Point, where Scott had proposed 18 months earlier. Afterwards, the reception was held Oxley's on the River at Auchenflower. This was a superb venue with beautiful views, exceptional food and outstanding service. "Our wedding had an elephant theme and in lieu of gifts we asked our guests to donate to our favourite charity, Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary for rescued elephants in Thailand, where we'd volunteered in 2007. We had a wonderful night and then spent two weeks honeymooning in Borneo, enjoying the beautiful beaches and amazing orangutans!" said Anna.
