The National Designer of Dreams Awards
The National Awards are called the Designer of Dreams Awards and are held each year to determine the Top Bridal suppliers in Australia. These Awards began in 2008 and have been designed to elevate the reputation, prestige and consistency of excellence achieved by Australia’s Top Bridal Suppliers, as rated by brides.
In their first year these Awards were determined by taking into consideration a 3 year period of rankings for each individual supplier and in 2009 we raised the bar by increasing the period of rankings to 4 years. Only those suppliers who have been ranked every year over a 4 year period will be eligible to win one of these prestigious Awards.
The Academy has created a unique and invaluable service designed to enhance the reputation of the dedicated wedding supplier by rewarding their passion and professionalism with public recognition of their past work. This service is achieved via information collected from over 50,000 newlyweds. Participating brides supply invaluable information relating to the ‘Quality of Product’, ‘Quality of Service’, ‘Value for Money’ and ‘Attitude of Staff’ of each nominated wedding supplier. The bridal ratings are collated and used to determine who were, in the opinion of the voting brides, the best suppliers of their wedding products and services. These suppliers are then publicly acclaimed at the Annual Bridal Industry Awards, held each year in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and for the first time this year in Western Australia. Approximately 38 different wedding categories are represented at the Awards from the Jeweller who supplied the engagement and wedding rings to the company who supplied the ‘First Night Honeymoon’ suite.
